A Little About Us (Hi, I’m Sarah!)

Manara Home is a small business based in sunny Brisbane, Australia, lovingly owned and run by me—Sarah Duck.

It all began back in September 2020, when Manara Home launched with a simple goal: to bring bold, playful homewares to life. We were one of the very first brands to introduce the bubble candle to Australia, and from there, the love for sculptural, statement pieces just kept growing.

Today, the range has expanded to include all kinds of quirky, eclectic homewares—each designed to bring joy, colour, and a bit of personality into every room.

And yes—every single candle is still hand-poured by me in my little Brisbane studio.

We’re not here for bland. Manara Home is all about moodful living—pieces that create a vibe, tell a story, and make your home feel uniquely yours.

From bold colour palettes to unexpected shapes and rich scents, everything is designed to mix, match, and make you smile.

Thoughtfully Designed. Carefully Made.

Our candles are lovingly hand-poured using vegan soy and coconut waxes and premium fragrance oils for a clean, long-lasting burn. Many of our décor pieces are also made from Ecrylimer, an Australian-made, eco-friendly resin, crafted in small batches for that perfectly imperfect touch.

Everything here is designed to spark joy and bring a little fun into your space.

Why ‘Manara’?

‘Manara’ means ‘beacon of light’—which felt just right for a brand built on the idea of lighting up homes through colour, scent, and design.
